LEN SPENDIFF HAS BEEN ELECTED BY THE COMMITTEE IN 2020 TO BE PRESIDENT 

 

Presidents Message

I feel privileged to be elected President of this club, Playing bowls at the Warren has given me many years of pleasure since I joined about 12 years ago.

 

2020 was the year of the Covid 19 Pandemic, which meant all Bowls clubs throughout

the country were closed for  approxiamtely 15 months

 

 In May  2021 Bowls in England eventually commenced but with safe distancing regulations in place

 

I hope to continue to try and recruit more members to the club, I have had some success but hope to get more members on our green in 2021/22

 

Thank you for your continued support of the Warren Bowls Club during this awful year

We have reduced the fee for  new members. A reduction in the fees for their first year to encourage their participation reduced from £85.0p to £45.0p

 

The main club has given memberhip cards to all members of the Warren Sports Club so that one can get a 10% reduction in Bar prices for food and drink. It is working well Hic!!.
